Central to all we do at Immaculata- La Salle High School is our faith in Jesus Christ. In the Salesian Spirit, we recognize that our faith is expressed through prayer, worship, service and moral living. Our retreat programs further develop this ministry of faith.

Four (4) years of Theology - Students have diverse courses to choose from within the curriculum:

Catholicism (1 year)

Hebrew Scriptures (1 semester)

Christian Scriptures (1 semester)

Sacramental Life (1 semester)

Morality (1 semester)

Peace and Justice (1 semester)

World Religions (1 semester)

Peer Ministry I (year long course in- corporating

topics such as Christian leadership, sacraments/

morality, vocations, Salesian spirituality etc.)

Peer Ministry II (1 year)

Students must perform at least thirty (25) hours of community service per academic year. An important goal of Immaculata-La Salle High School is to enable all students, through their involvement in community ser- vice, to make significant progress in their development as a “person for others.” Motivated by the example of Jesus Christ and by a growing concern for others, the student is encouraged to become a mature Christian who can work with oth- ers for the good of others. Students have the opportunity to actively participate in their sacramental life by attending Masses and the Sacra- ment of Reconciliation on a regular basis. In addition, the Theology de- partment works in conjunction with the Campus Ministry team to guide students in further encountering their faith in God.
